Overview

Flagship presence, built for blue-water living

Successor to the best-selling powercat of all time, the Leopard 53PC was rebooted by Simonis Voogd with a lengthened, refined hull and an enlarged superstructure — 218.5 cubic metres of volume, a 31.1 per cent increase over the 51 PC, yet still driven by the same efficient Yanmar engines.

A walk-around cockpit, an electric swim platform, a vast hardtop flybridge and the first interior helm on a Leopard powercat together express four generations of catamaran heritage. Three- or four-cabin layouts are offered, with the master suite occupying much of the starboard hull.

  • 218.5 m³ of volume, 31.1% more than the 51 PC
  • Twin Yanmar 8LV370s, 24 knots top, 17 knots cruising
  • 3 or 4 cabins; master suite in the starboard hull
  • 2,130 litres of fuel, 1,600 nm range at 5 knots on one engine

Highlights

Why choose the Leopard 53PC

01

All-new deck layout

The walk-around cockpit makes the most of the 7.67 m beam, and the electric swim platform lowers below the waterline to carry a dinghy — a complete waterfront social zone.

02

Vast hardtop flybridge

Billed as the heart of the boat, the flybridge offers a square dining table, a C-shaped sofa and a wet bar with grill — mostly shaded by a solid hardtop, with a triple sunpad aft.

03

First interior helm

The first Leopard powercat with an interior helm station, where an interactive touchscreen controls and monitors lighting, air-conditioning, fuel and water systems.

04

Efficient Yanmar power

Twin 8LV370 engines sit in separate aft compartments to cut noise and vibration; the full-displacement hull is up to 50% more fuel efficient than monohull motor yachts.
