Overview

A compact cat built for blue-water comfort

Following the 53PC and 46PC, the Leopard shipyard created the 40PC with the same proven recipe, aimed at first-time buyers and charter fleets alike. She was designed from the start as a motorboat — hulls and weight distribution engineered for power — and her wide hulls deliver interior volume rare on a 40-footer.

In the three-cabin layout, the owner's suite claims the entire starboard hull with a queen bed, desk, television and ensuite bathroom, while two double cabins share the port side. One of the largest flybridges in her class spans the main deck, and the foredeck sun lounge is reached directly from the saloon — a life far larger than her length suggests.

  • Three-cabin layout with full starboard owner's suite
  • Twin 250 hp Yanmar standard, 320/370 hp optional
  • 1,400-litre fuel capacity, 1,600 nm range at 5 knots on one engine
  • CE Category A ocean rating

Highlights

Why choose the Leopard 40PC

01

One of the largest flybridges in class

Spanning the entire main deck, the flybridge hosts a U-shaped settee, dining table, grill cabinet and a two-person helm, with LED lighting in the hardtop and an optional full transparent enclosure.

02

Open-plan, light-filled saloon

Galley, saloon and helm share one bright, open level, and a forward glass door leads straight to the foredeck sun lounge — indoor and outdoor living as one.

03

Three-cabin layout

The owner's suite occupies the whole starboard hull with a double bed, desk and ensuite; two further double cabins sit to port — equally suited to family cruising or charter.

04

Efficient long-range cruising

Efficient catamaran hulls cruise at around 15 knots and top out at 23; the 1,400-litre tank gives 350 nautical miles at 15 knots, or 1,600 at 5 knots on one engine.
