Leopard 43

The Evolution of a Proven Platform

The Leopard 43 sailing catamaran enters the Leopard fleet as the evolution of the highly successful Leopard 42, reimagined to reflect the next generation of Leopard design, performance and onboard living. Originally envisioned as a visual and layout update to align with the new family aesthetic introduced by the Leopard 46 and Leopard 52, the project quickly expanded into a far more comprehensive redesign. The result was a sailing catamaran that delivers meaningful advances in performance and comfort.

Performance Focused Sailing Design

Designed to be sportier, responsive, and even more fun to sail, the Leopard 43 features an efficient wave piercing hull shape, reverse bows, and an upgraded sail plan that maintains Leopard’s hallmark balance between comfort and uncompromised sailing performance. A larger rig and increased sail area features a mast three feet taller and 12% more upwind sail area than the Leopard 42. This translates into improved power, efficiency and handling across a wide range of conditions.

A Panoramic Saloon Designed for Light and Connection

Inside, the Leopard 43 introduces one of the most striking design evolutions in the Leopard sailing range. Expansive glass windows now fully surround the saloon, eliminating traditional GRP structures beside the companionway and delivering a true 360 degree panoramic view with exceptional natural light. Combined with the open plan connection between the aft cockpit and saloon, made possible by a sliding glass companionway doors, the Leopard 43 offers a seamless, flexible living environment that adapts effortlessly to changing conditions.

Thoughtful Innovation Throughout the Deck and Living Spaces

From improved dock access with an integrated side step and enhanced forward cockpit seating to a redesigned coachroof lounge and significantly increased solar capacity, every element of the Leopard 43 reflects a thoughtful refinement of proven Leopard DNA. The result is a modern cruising catamaran that feels open, connected, and capable—true to the Leopard brand, where performance and comfort are always advanced together, never at the expense of one another.
